Cranberry Pear Fizz
Serves 4 drinks
½ cup fresh organic cranberries
1L bottle of ginger ale
1L bottle of club soda
1 organic pear
½ organic lime
Simple syrup
Rosemary for garnish
Muddle 4-5 cranberries and 3 slices of pear. Add 1 teaspoon of lime juice and 1 teaspoon of simple syrup. Add a splash of ginger ale and club soda; stir and garnish with cranberries and rosemary.
Vegan Red Velvet Cupcakes
- 1 cup soy milk
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup canola oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetarian red food coloring
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoons almond extract
- 1 teaspoon chocolate extract (I never have this! If you don’t either, Isa recommends upping the vanilla extract to 2½ teaspoons and almond extract to ½ teaspoon)
- One batch of cream cheese frosting, vegan substitutions used if necessary
